For its first report, The State of Data at Work, Confluent, Inc. (NASDAQ: CFLT) polled 1,950 IT and engineering leaders in six countries. The findings highlight how data in motion underpins businesses excelling in serving, retaining, and engaging customers, both now and into the future. In addition, the report captures today’s growing data streaming marketplace. It shows how real-time data affects everything from how employees do their jobs, how companies relate to customers, and how they provide goods.
Yet leveraging that powerful force is challenging for many organizations. Data becomes harder to manage because it rapidly grows in size and the diversity of places from which it is pulled and stored.
